In the beginning, the world was chaos. Eventually, the lighter air went up and the heavier air went down, creating the sky and the earth. But at that time there was only the sky and the earth, and the earth remained in chaos.

The two deities of man and woman stood on the sky bridge and stirred the earth with their pikes. Then the mud dripped from the points of the pikes, and an island was formed in the chaos.

The two deities landed on the island, married, and gave birth to eight more islands.

After that, they gave birth to many deities. Stone, earth, sea, wind, mountains, grain, and fire...

**

This is the story of the birth of Japan, according to the mythology of Japan. It is recorded in Japan's oldest historical books "Kojiki" and "Nihon Shoki", based on the oldest belief in Japan - "Shinto".

The two deities gave birth to the land, and their act is called "Kuniumi" in Japanese. This album was inspired by the beginning of this story.

The "Magatama" on the cover is an ancient Japanese amulet. It is made of jadeite from the earth of Japan. It is currently unknown whether this shape has any meaning or ideology attached to it, there is no academic answer to that. We may wonder, but no one knows.

Most Japanese people today don't have a clear religious belief. I don't either. But we love nature, the seasons, cleanliness, good food and live a very normal life with technology and prayer. We support each other, sometimes wrong, sometimes it destroys, sometimes it regenerates. Stirring up the chaos and creating something new.

Everything is as it should be.
